There may be multiple price tags in one image. Images should be sharp and the price tags aligned straight.
Tagroy simplifies the tedious task of capturing up-to-date shelf prices (i.e. taken from price tags). Simply take photos of merchandise shelves and feed them to Tagroy.
The price tags on these images are automatically recognized, snipped, and transferred to a user-friendly Excel format. Any text found is extracted. Typical price tag elements such as the price itself, barcodes or product codes are recognized and assigned to the correct columns.
Tagroy is a vision. You are dealing with the beta version. There is still a lot of room for improvement. The recognition rate could be improved significantly. Templates could be used to automatically assign all fields. Videos could be used instead of photos. And so on. Automated price tag recognition is only the first step.
Our goal is to make the customer's job easier in the long run: "real-time" prices should be made available worldwide in customizable formats or be retrievable via API.
Automation is not limited to price labeling. Modern AI offers possibilities that were not available a few years ago. It simply needs to be done.

Not yet finialized. In the upcoming versions, the recognition results can be improved by allowing templates for price tag types to be defined.
The better price tag areas (such as quantity, product code, manufacturer, ...) can be identified, the more accurate the recognition can be implemented. There shall be individual templates for each retailer in each country for each language for each price tag type.
Custom templates shall be easy to be defined.
